Client testimonials

“Emma has really helped me this year. I came to my first session quite fearful of what to expect, and Emma quickly put me at my ease with her professionalism, humanity and warmth. She is empathetic, insightful, and somehow knows instinctively when to listen and when to talk. The sessions felt comfortable and were a safe space for me to speak freely. She has helped me to understand and to accept myself. She has given me a range of strategies and techniques to cope with my issues into the future. I highly recommend Emma to anyone”. Caroline

I always come away from my sessions with Emma feeling greater resilience and positivity. I would highly recommend her.” Bridget

She is an outstanding listener whose friendly, yet professional, manner put me at ease from the start, enabling me to share and work through my issues in a secure and safe environment. I would very highly recommend her as a counsellor.” Andrew

“I found having these sessions was really beneficial. It was a safe space where I could talk about anything. To have a positive, gentle and encouraging person to listen and guide was just what I needed. Face to face with Emma, helped me get through some rough times. My life hasn’t changed, but I’m coping better with it now. I don’t need to see Emma anymore, but will miss our sessions.” Cath

“My counselling sessions with Emma were very helpful. I felt I was in a mess when we started and Emma kindly and gently helped me to talk about my problems and find a way forward. I felt that she really understood me and helped me to understand myself better. It was time well spent.” Jenny
